Wendy's This is Better

The 6th year of the Liberty Bell Games was an enormous success! Once again, I must express my profound gratitude to Comcast-Spectacor and Wendy's for their Sponsorship. Your unwavering support has allowed the Liberty Bell Games to flourish. Through the generosity of our Contributors and Supporters; Honda, Philly Express, USA Hockey, Saylor Sports, College Hockey News, Hockey House, Embroidery Heaven and Endeavor Sports Performance, we were given the opportunity to provide our players with added souvenirs.

Thank you to the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone for hosting the Liberty Bell Games. My sincere appreciation to Pat Ferrill, Jay Freeman, Bob Sweet, Christine Clark, Ryan Costa, Brett Bruneteau, Maureen Ross, Frank Rosi and the Gear Zone staff for your unyielding assistance and collaboration; nothing is ever left undone. It's always a pleasure working with each of you during our event and I value the professional courtesy that is extended to me and my staff.

I would like to thank Bill Underwood, my Scouting Coordinator, whose player knowledge is invaluable. With 250+ player applications this year, it's an exceedingly difficult task selecting our 90 players and this year proved to be an added challenge, as all of our Applicants were outstanding. The games were competitive and exciting to watch!

To my Event Director/VP Sales & Marketing, Anne, thank you for your professional integrity, unrelenting work ethic and devotion to the Liberty Bell Games. Your fortitude and tireless efforts, since the inception of the Liberty Bell Games in 2009, has been the catalyst to our success. To my staff; Mike Mirack, Donna Kosling and Frank Reago, thank you for your dedication and support. I am incredibly honored and proud to work with each of you!

Thank you to the Scouts and Coaches from the NHL, NCAA, OHL, USHL, EJHL, Prepatory schools and other Independents that were in attendance. I appreciate your time, enthusiasm and commitment.

I would also like to acknowledge our five team Coaches; James Laux, Chris Bala, Peter Whitney, Keith Dupee, Jared Beach and our Assistant Coach; Ernie Laux. Thank you Greg Lowden, our Trainer; Mike Sheehan, for the amazing Play-by-Play, Tony Piscotta, our Announcer and to our Officials for an outstanding job!

The focus of the Liberty Bell Games is nothing less than emphasizing our talented players. An integral part of our initiative, first and foremost, is to provide our players with a unique opportunity to be recognized and evaluated by our attending Scouts and Coaches. I would like to commend the 90 players that committed their time, talent and efforts.

Next year, the Liberty Bell Games will be played on June 5, 6 & 7, 2015. We are excited to announce that we are expanding our eligibility to neighboring regions, which will allow us to have 6 teams with 108 participants. There will be newly designed, exclusive team jerseys, unique giveaways, special activities and surprise guests.
